The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) marked its 88th Anniversary and Appreciation Night by honoring key partners and contributors in the fields of ease of doing business, capital market development, investor protection, and sustainability. Held at the SEC Headquarters in Makati City, the event carried the theme “Reach for the STARS: Shining Through Achievements, Reinvention, and Sustainability.” Among the honorees was Komunidad, recognized for its outstanding contributions to sustainability and corporate governance through the development of the SuRe Form platform. The platform, designed to simplify the sustainability reporting process for publicly listed companies (PLCs), aligns with the SEC’s goal of enhancing transparency and compliance in corporate governance.

On November 28, Komunidad with the SEC launched Sustainability Reporting (SuRe) platform that will help the commission to collect, manage, and verify sustainability data submitted by PLCs. The launch was held as part of the 11th Annual SEC-Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) Corporate Governance Forum themed “Sustainalympics: Corporate Governance and Sustainability through Sustainability Champions.”
